Give the option to do a player "training camp" that requires a player to sit out 1 season and for an additional amount of gold they can upgrade from a 1* to a 2*, or 2* to 3*.  4* & 5*'s can not be obtained from this method

The option to start a training camp is only available during the off season before day 1 of the new season.

Players must be 17 or older at the time the training camp starts.

Training camps could also be used to change a players characteristic, such as removing a "dirty, or injury prone" characteristic.

Generally, I am for this idea, just not clear what is benefit. In case training costs for let's say 1 to 2 is more than cost of young 2, than you paid more, lose player 1 season and has player that training speed is lower due to age than young player. If costs is less, than people can abuse it to get high star players

Maybe is better to have training camp for 1 season, when you need to pay some money and lose player for 1 season, but get player trained in higher speed than regular, like double speed

It can be abused easily... I would pull lots of 1-star youths, upgrade to 5-star the ones with positive traits or outstanding skill sets and sell the others. Having to wait one year would not be a big deal because the variance in the skills is even higher than the amount you can obtain in the first season

Nobody read to understand in suggestion. I don't see many using the option of training camp if such alternative is available. As maridiba might have said that it would get abuse with, said he would sign only 1 star and gradually upgrade the ones with good skills.

Let do maths: players can only be sent to camp at 17, and would take a whole season long to undergo with no training or availability to play in matchs. Would take 4 months of no training and no experience to take him to level 5. and it's probably more more expensive to use training camp than signing 2 stars instead of training but yes if the option is available it's a good one as alternative. Not much player would use it except maybe 4 stars to 5 stars which maybe should take longer like 2 months to train. For me those should be constructive suggestion I want to see when others players has something to say than always goin for the negative side. Lol

I had recommend special school where player can be send to to remove negative trait so wasn't also worth considering? Error player having more than 60 to 70 teq can be train in this section to lose the trait. So is injury trait, if the player has 50 strength and up to 50 to 60 natural fitness then he can be train to lose the trait under the facility :)

Would decrease the pulls for 5*

Will just lead way to pull lower stars in excess and keep just what is best while overflowing the market with bad to average pulls.

@maridiba, the suggestion said that you can’t use this method to get 4* or 5*.  That is for a reason, but even if you did, you would either have to have them sit out 4 seasons to do so if they started from a 1*.  That would be 4 months of no training or skill upgrades

And yes i would imagine that you would have to pay a decent price per level raised, much like a coach to upgrade.  The reason for sitting out for a whole season is that clubs are limited on how many players they can have, would this player be worth it for your team in the long run to sit out 1 season or more to get the desired *.

The other part to this is it wouldn’t be the desired way to obtain a higher * player.  Using this method would actually limit how much they could preform for you over their lifetime.  It’s a very strategic choice.  There could also be a limit to how many players could be sent to a training camp, just 1 per team.

The point would be if a team had that one player with great stats or a trait that would make it truly worth it.
