Hello again, was hoping to complete this with yesterdays update but got pushed to today. Energy bars got a bit of an update, its now possible to have more than one type of them.
Trail mix was considered mandatory for the major boost it had in relation to the price, everyone used them so it was nerfed from 15% to 5% player boost, the price was increased as it was ridiculously cheap.
A new energy bar was introduced called Pro Bar. This bar has a 15% player boost (like old trail mix) and costs around 5 euros, in gold, also bough from the goods market.
All funds from global market sales continues to go to the Global Fund to fund international competitions and stadium tickets.
When the economic foundations are ignored what is left is an economy in tatters... I just wonder how long it will take for it to become clear that this change was a mistake. I hope this mistake doesn't cost the game, putting the item at a price that doesn't make any economic sense will only reduce its sales drastically...who's going to buy trail mix after this?
Hello friends, with this update I think we are moving towards a game for compulsive gamblers, nothing to do with a managerial game.
Spending 5 euros for a 15% per game that does not guarantee you victory, on 30 games per season takes you away 150 euros, for a first prize in the Italian federation of +/- 15 euros.
You will find yourself playing the CL or CC with a negative (+/-) -135 euros, if you were to go out in the first round of CL or CC you are left with a big negative.
A managerial game must have a much more complete administration of the game in all the components that constitute it and that give you the possibility of being able to manage a company in a managerial way and not fossilizing the game only in buying expensive bonuses, positions and roles of young people, buying names of players etc etc etc, which make you lose the concept of MANAGERIAL GAME.
In a previous press release, given my ten-year experience in managerial games, I had given suggestions that could lead the game into a more complete and long-lasting managerial management over time.
Now I am very disappointed with these changes, I think we are taking the wrong path for a managerial game and I foresee in the next seasons an emptying of investments on KOB and with them the decrease of the global fund itself.
I hope that Nicmo has done his sums well and advise. I can say for my part I have spent +/- 1,400 euros in this game, I no longer see the conditions to continue investing, because I do not see a long-lasting future for a managerial game. I think that my thought is the thought of many players who intended to continue investing in KOB but will no longer do so, given the poor and uncared for administrative part of the game itself.
I say these words because I care about this game and I hope to be listened to to prevent the failure and closure of the game itself.
A good evening to everyone.
I agree that you can't choose a specific position for the player (R, C and L) but I don't agree that you are assigned a young player with a random role. I also don't understand why other positions for the stricker aren't introduced. I also actually find the new €5 energy bar too expensive
Urahara9831, not sure why you think i am having fun reading doomdays comments.
Anyway, i read your other post too and i understand your frustration since you are a free to play player but i am sorry i don't have the ability to create money and give it to you so you can play and earn. If you want prizes for league results, international competitions, etc, you will be left out, if you don't invest. There is no way around it, don't expect to buy players for free when they are worth money, don't expect to buy items for cheap if they are worth more, i am sorry salaries of your players are getting expensive but they contribute to the prizes as well.
No one is forcing you to buy anything, your team will work fine without energy bars, i don't use them.
Nicmo, But you can't even build a managerial game with the sole absolute goal of the first prize of the CL.
1500 users aiming for a single goal. You have to give more money and autonomy to the federations by contributing to an increase in prizes that also incentivize the smallest and newest investor to invest in the game itself. From the taxes of the federations they contribute to the increase of the global fund. In the current system you don't incentivize new and small investors to invest, you only fossilize on the big investors who out of 1500 users will be +/- 50 people, who once they have brought the team and structures to the maximum you will no longer see them making large investments. You will have a period of 10/15 seasons where you will have very low investments and with it an emptying of the global fund.
The most alarming example is with the global fund, two seasons ago it was almost at 20K (all due to large investments) now we are +/-10.6k. If you do not create the conditions of continuity of new and small investments over time by everyone, a default will be created in the game's finances.
Then you are the creator of the game and surely you know what to do, mine is only a constructive criticism for the good of the game itself.
How about players who bought their Trail Mix in advanced at cheaper price? Again changes that are advantages for players who spent lot of money at start of the game. Maybe something that is at least good for new and old players, not just advantages for old ones.
Surely more money should be distributed for individual matches won and the final position in the national championships, otherwise medium and small teams will not be encouraged to play
I see that Nicmo brought up the discussion of re-evaluating the trail mix, but it is also important to review the other change, that of young players, Imagine paying your youngsters and they all come from the exact same position, having to throw good youngsters away because you have too many forwards or defenders
5€ can seem crazy for a temporary boost, but remember that everyone who bought energy boost was 90% always winning and this is not good for the balance of the game (and for the economy too because 0.6 gold was too much damn low for a huge boost)
Not sure why so many negative comments for this change, in my opinion nicmo is fully right, getting 15% for peanuts money is not good, everyone use it, even sometimes for games for unmanaged teams. 5EUR is really much, probably should be slighlty lower, but idea is to use it only when is critical, like game that can give 1 place in league or cup finals, or international games
