Today I noticed something strange in my Youth League match related to both training and experience for my youths.

First, all 11 youth players were selected to play in the lineup.

• I had two GKs selected. One of them did not play at all, even though he was chosen. I can understand this part since the game only uses one GK.

• But what I really don’t get: all three DFs did not play a single minute. They received 0 experience and 0 fitness loss, even though they were all selected in the lineup. How come?

Then comes the training part:

• The rest of the players did play the match, did get experience, did lose fitness…

• But they did not receive the extra training boost for having “played a game in the last 24 hours.”

Is this supposed to work this way, or does it look like a bug in today’s Youth League match?

The games are 7-a-side football, so you should only give priority to 7 players. If you select 11, it's as if you had selected none of them.

The training bonus is only valid for the first team players, and the youth players only have the tutoring bonus

But honestly, with only 0.2 EXP per match for up to 7 players, I’m starting to wonder if the next season 20 gold minimum entry fee is really worth it. It’s also very hard to earn that gold back through qualification prizes, so the value feels quite low right now.

I think the Youth League needs a bit more reward to make the cost worthwhile.

I agree, the next youth league will not be worth it for 99% of players. Only for elite youth trainers :D

with 20 golds if we have 36 team it will increase rewards by 3
