Player market is currently full of overpriced offers for players, which noone buying.

To avoid people to put player in market just if someone want to pay huge amount, I suggest to charge 10% tax on initial bid price as fee for sending on market. In case player is sold, initial tax will be deducted from total tax. In case player is not sold, tax money will not be returned.

Benefit: players will have lower starting price and more bidding will happened.

Adrian09, in my opinion, market is already killed, just with many overpriced offers, people don't realise it.

My suggestion is first to clean it, than try to revive. How to revive is different story, usually players needs to be burden to sell them, which means maybe raise of salaries can be solution.

On other hand, necessity of buying can also increase market activities. For example, players can be injured for longer period ( bigger roster required), players lose condition more, players unable to play more than 1 game per day (quite radical)

I like this proposal, I've also tried to propose it in the first seasons of KOB because that's a common practice in online football manager games: it costs nothing if the player is sold because the initial cost is deducted when paying the final tax, but it keeps the market clean.
Everybody knows that the market is driven by the request, not by the offer, and more people will participate in the auctions if we get rid of the shit. Currently, if you exclude 1* players, there are only 3 players with bids! I wonder why here people only look at the market from a seller's perspective...

In this kind of game, I usually like to build my team with training and I typically look for young stars to buy and train for my team, but in KOB I stopped browsing the market because it's flooded with useless overpriced players. I usually make bids when I find a good player advertised on Discord, but this change would finally make the market efficient also from a buyer's perspective.

I said stuff on discord suggestion over the current market

Performance thus this prepositions in my understanding will

Futher push the market in negatives. Do the one making this

Suggestion realised  prices of players 52 to 58 AQ back then

In 2nd to 3rd season were over 20 to 100 euros?? And today those

Players with such AQ are been sold way less. Such that If you bought players

Couple of season back then from the market and train them, improve

their AQ and finally put them on transfer market to sell them at age 20  to 25

Which should be prime yrs for most players, do you realised you will be

Unable to sell the player same value bought in the market 2 to 3  season ago?

Eg, 54 AQ defender I bought 9 euros 3 season ago is now 57 AQ but non is bidding on

Him for 5 euros and he is just 21....

You sure don't want to push the price of player down with more taxing, you'll soon

One day shift from consumer to seller and realise you can't make profit from

Selling players you spend so much on, to sign from youth, train for months and

End up selling way beyond under the worth and time put into the player....

Nobody is proposing to raise taxes, it would still be 10%... the only difference is that the seller saves 1 local currency that is currently paid to list a player.

Taxes have nothing to do with the decrease in the value of the player of your example. Keep in mind that you are not the only one who can train players: when your player's skills increase, also the skills of other players increase according to how well they train; a young player can gain or lose value over time based on the quality of the training ground and coaches, and also based on which skills are raised. Check my player Ion Vladut, bought 5 seasons ago for 4€, and now he has 62 AQ and can play well in Italian League A. I'm not interested in selling him, but his value is probably higher than 4€ now.

You can't expect to sell your players for a higher price if they get older without a substantial skill increase

As Maridiba said, I was not proposing any additional tax, just mechanism to avoid putting bad players on high price.

Currently, I can put whole my team on market with price 100eur+ for max 1g fee and waiting that someone mistaken and bid. If I need to pay 10eur initially for each I put for 100eur, I will not do it, or I will do it only for top player that will be sold

Well, you have a nice filter options right now, so, you can see only players which fits your needs, but about price, everyone is free to ask as much as he wants, if you consider that price "overpriced", dont buy, but for seller, that might be normal price. It is all related to seller, if he needs fast money, he will lower price untill it sells, if he dont, he can hold same player over and over and in most cases, it will sell even at an "overpriced" price. Its funny, most of you probably want to buy well skilled players close to cost to spawn it or even lower. Market its fine, you can find legit, right now, players close to their spawn price and beeing trained for months, wjhat you want more? Want them for 50% of their value? Personally, i would rather end with them in my team untill they retire then selling as an example a 5 star player trained for months for 50-80E as they do now.

ANd anyway, if you think they are overpriced, you can ALWAYS spawn new ones and train them, cheaper, ofc, it takes take but it is what it is, pay or go cheaper way.

PS: When most of teams who aimed to build best team bought best players at a  way higher price then nowaday prices, havent  seen any seller/buying crying around that prices are too high, but now, when some of them or other managers looking to build a similar team moaming around to reduce their price more.

Adrian09, you miss my point, I don't mind if people put any price in player market, I just wanted to be properly charged for it, not only 1 local currency. Putting initial price should be important decision, not irrelevant like it is now.

@fletcher90 , i see your suggestion:

"Player market is currently full of overpriced offers for players, which noone buying.

To avoid people to put player in market just if someone want to pay huge amount, I suggest to charge 10% tax on initial bid price as fee for sending on market. In case player is sold, initial tax will be deducted from total tax. In case player is not sold, tax money will not be returned.

Benefit: players will have lower starting price and more bidding will happened."

So, you want everyone to be taxed with 10% ofr initial asking price despite of having it sold or not, which, its just a shit update which will just ruin market at all and turn it into a forum spam.

THere are already fees, adding more dont solve the issue but will just ruin it more. personally, i dont mind having players listed even for 1000Euro, i can just set my own filters and thats  it :)

@everyone I don't think add 10% tasks to every selling price of any player will really help to reduce over pricing in the player market, what I think should be done is...
1:every player should have their respective worth e.i their abilities, capabilities, age, experience and their current form should be calculated and then placed as their asking price (worth)
2: this their worth should be the highest price a manager can set as asking price and if there's an overcrowd for a particular player and in the process the price exceeds the set asking price, then the seller gets the over flow as bonus..(maybe KOB can charge from the over flow)
For e.g  a player is worth €200(considering his age, current form, abilities, capabilities, avq, etc, the highest price his manager can set before putting on sale should be that €200(can set lower) if he tries to set something higher than €200,the sale gets declined.
After putting him on a sale
If the player gets bids that makes the amount surpass 200 box the the remains can be given to the seller and maybe KOB can charge from the remains
