Victory Tokens in Kickoff Boss: VCT, sVCT and how winning pays you

Kickoff Boss pays out Gold when your teams win. If you hold Victory Tokens, those same wins pay you a second time. Managers keep asking what the exact formula is and whether holding tokens is worth it, so here it is, all of it.

VCT and sVCT: two names, one token

VCT is a real token on the Solana blockchain. It lives in your own wallet, outside the game.

sVCT, stashed VCT, is your in-game token balance. It's what prizes actually pay, what you spend and trade inside the game, and it only becomes real VCT when you withdraw it.

The two connect on your Victory Tokens page: link your Solana wallet there and the game starts counting the VCT you hold. Only tokens in a linked wallet count, and the game refreshes your wallet balance every few hours.

How prizes generate sVCT

Every Gold prize your teams win also generates sVCT: league match wins and draws, cup rounds, Champions League and Continental Cup matches, the Super Cup, youth leagues, and the season-end prizes for league standings.

How much you earn depends on two things: how big the prize is, and how big your wallet is. The exact formula:

sVCT earned = 2,000,000 × (prize Gold ÷ season total prize Gold) × (your VCT ÷ average VCT held)

In plain words: each season the game hands out around 2 million sVCT. Your slice of it depends on your share of all the Gold won that season, scaled by how your wallet compares to the average holder's. Win an average share of prizes with an average wallet and you collect an average share of the 2 million.

The quick math

For the current season the constants work out to a simple rule of thumb: about 2.3 sVCT per 1 Gold of prize, per million VCT in your wallet.

A regular league win pays around 5 Gold. With 1 million VCT that's roughly 11 sVCT. With 10 million, about 115. A real one from this week: a 12.25M wallet earned 147.8 sVCT on a single league win.

Season-long, a manager who wins 1% of all prize Gold with an average wallet generates around 20,000 sVCT. Double the wallet, double the tokens. It's linear all the way up.

Two things to keep in mind. Most sVCT lands at season end, when league standings and the big finals pay out, so your weekly income will be spiky. And the constants refresh every season: if more VCT gets held overall, the per-Gold rate drops for everyone, because the pool stays around 2 million.

Backing other managers

You don't have to earn only on your own results anymore. You can allocate shares of your wallet, in 10% steps, to back up to 10 other managers. When a manager you back wins a Gold prize, your allocated share runs through the same formula, and the result is split 50/50 between you and them.

Your unallocated share keeps earning on your own prizes as usual, and backing costs the backed manager nothing: every backer is calculated separately and only adds. That's why the most backed managers actively want more backers behind them. You can see who's worth backing on the Most Backed Managers ranking, and every manager's profile shows who backs them.

Allocations can only be changed during the season change, days 28 to 31 of each month, on your Victory Tokens page.

The math on when backing beats holding: your allocated share earns half of what it generates. So backing pays off when the manager you back wins more than twice the Gold you'd win yourself. Backing the league leaders with a share of your wallet while your own team fights mid-table is exactly the kind of move the system rewards.

What you can do with sVCT

Three things.

Boost youth prospects. When you sign a new prospect from your academy, you can spend sVCT on a training boost of up to 3000%, making the youth you spawn develop dramatically faster. This is where most sVCT gets spent.

Trade it. The sVCT market is a player-to-player order book where sVCT trades against Platinum, with no fee. This is also how you get sVCT without ever touching a crypto wallet: just buy it from another manager.

Withdraw it. Turn sVCT into real VCT sent to your linked Solana wallet. Worth knowing before you do: sVCT has normally traded well above the VCT token's external price, at the time of writing roughly 3 to 4 times above it. If your goal is cashing out, check the sVCT market first, selling for Platinum in-game is usually the better deal.

So is it worth it?

The formula answers half the question precisely: a wallet of a given size generates a predictable number of tokens from your results. Run your own numbers, your typical Gold per season times 2.3 per million held.

The other half, what those tokens are worth, is decided by the market: sVCT sells for whatever other managers pay on the sVCT market, and VCT is a real token with a real price. That part is your call as an investor.

What we can say: the system pays winners. If your teams win a lot, or you back managers who do, a linked wallet turns every one of those wins into tokens. The formula above tells you exactly how many.
