Hello Managers! 👋

Season 21 is officially wrapped up! Since it’s February, we’re heading into a short off-season period, but that doesn’t mean things are quiet behind the scenes.

Let’s take a look at what’s changing as we enter Season 22 👇


📊 Experience System Rebalance

We’re reaching the end of the first generation of youth players, and maximum experience values are becoming clearer. Because of that:

  • The Experience bar requirement has been adjusted.

  • A full XP bar now requires 2000 XP instead of 1000.

This change will reduce the overall impact of captains’ team modifiers, making their influence more balanced long-term.


⏱️ Experience Gain Now Based on Minutes Played

Player experience is now calculated more realistically:

  • Players must still play at least 15 minutes to earn XP.

  • Experience gained is now proportional to minutes played.

  • Playing the full 90 minutes grants full match XP.

  • Matches with extra time give additional XP to players who play beyond 90 minutes.

This rewards consistent starters while still encouraging smart substitutions.


💰 NEW: Season Wage Bonus System

During the off-season (Days 28, 29, 30 and 31), you can now set a Season Wage Bonus for your squad.

  • Bonus range: 5% to 25% additional wages

  • Every 5% extra wage = +1% match performance boost

  • Maximum possible boost: +5% performance modifier

From Day 1 of the new season, the bonus becomes locked for the entire season.

You’ll see a reminder on the homepage during off-season so you don’t miss it.

This adds another layer of financial strategy, invest in motivation or save funds?


🎮 Easier Discord Integration

Joining our Discord and getting the “Player” role is now simpler:

  • Just link your game account to Discord directly from the Settings page in-game.

No more manual verification needed.


🤖 Auto-Bid System for Auctions

We’ve introduced an Auto-Bid system for:

  • Referral Rights Auction

  • Player Naming Auction

  • Player Side Training Auction

You can now set a maximum bid amount, and the system will automatically increase your bid whenever someone outbids you (up to your limit).

Perfect for competitive auctions without needing to stay online constantly.

@Minecodersam it was becoming too much... with my captain, I often had higher bonus when playing away games...

@maridiba halving the bonus is a bit too much honestly. i'm okay with the minutes played, but nerfing down so much the bonus is not good, the inf players now are worthless

My captain bonus is down from 9.4% tot 4.9% but the good news I can buy it back for 200gold/week.

What a bullshit decision this is. I wish you all the best..

@maridiba halving the bonus is a bit too much honestly. i'm okay with the minutes played, but nerfing down so much the bonus is not good, the inf players now are worthless

@Minecodersam it just changed the requirements to reach 100%, which is supposed to be top-level experience, but there were lots of players over 200%
It makes sense to me... I had a big advantage before, but it was quite weird to see all those players over 100%

@maridiba strange? if you grew up a player letting him play every day and then you see the bonus is halved you only think they gonna make joke of him (aka I feel like I'm being made fun of too). It was okay to make it like -10% or -20%, but literally halving is considering otrageous for the bonus xp system. hoping @nicmo will reset it, a lot of players will hate this update, apart the minutes played during the match, the only decent part of the update

p.s. and what about the inf players now? they are very worthless now

Everyone plays with same rules.

If you think you lost your bonus... consider that all your opponents lost their bonus/ got halved also

yes @alin i thought about that, but it dosn't work with the sum of the bonuses. now with this update who has low xp players has more advantage respect who has players wwith more xp

I see Some big problems and an answer on that would be usefull.

when you have pulled a youth and when its 17y or 18y when you have promoted you let Normely that player play 15 minits to get the exp. With this update you get forced to let play the player 90 minits where player is not good enough to do that so you lose matches.

other problem its not good for subs. You want Some player play something shorter becouse they are not ready

players need exp or need earn exp. So the update gives a huge problem about that. Specially for teams what play A1 league strong leagues. 
 

hopefully someone can explain this

for low level leagues this all dont matter or very less matter where by strong league teams this really hurt and gives problems.

Overall, I quite liked this update. The changes to the captain and experience system caught me a little by surprise, but since they affect all clubs equally, the overall impact is minimal. The main difference now lies in how we manage the team and prepare for upcoming opponents.

Previously, the competition for the captain had become unsustainable. For example, a captain with 15% experience compared to one with 10% created a 5% difference that could completely negate the home team's advantage. Now, this will no longer happen—the difference will be much smaller, around 1% to 2.5%. This is because the captain calculation formula uses the player's maximum total experience.

Regarding youth players, this update could improve the experience gain in the youth league. enlightened
