National teams locked drafting

I have a huge problem in my national team, some players retired after they got drafter and now I can't pick substitute players which means I don't have enough to fill the starting eleven... Any way we can draft players again?

When you put a player on the "retired" list, the change must occur before the World Cup.

I even predicted this, that they would leave the following month, so it's management... not calling up the retired players.

Yes I get that, but I wan't expecting it to end before the month actually ended...

Honestly, this is a terrible way to handle a core feature. Locking drafting without any in-game warning is bad design, especially when the feature was clearly rushed out to line up with the World Cup. Telling players to "check the forums" isn’t a real solution, nowhere in the game does it say we're expectd to monitor forum posts daily to avoid missing new rules and implementations.

And when players raise concerns, the response should not just be a pasted link and an implication that it's our fault. A proper response would acknowledge the issue, explain the reasoning clearly, and most importantly add visible warnings directly on the national team page where the mechanic actually matters not in the forum.

This wasn’t communicated properly in-game, and players shouldn't be punished for that.

I don't think this feature was rushed, it was deployed and tested 2 months ago, sure problems still happen and probably will happen that needs correction.

There is actually a timer in the drafting player section with a warning and countdown precisely for this locking mechanism, so you missed these 2 communications, it can happen, that's why i made the extra warning on discord too. I understand your frustration but don't take it out on me.
