This is the last update of 2025, landing just before Season 20 officially kicks off! ⚽🎉

Let’s wrap up the year with two major additions that bring more realism, strategy, and structure to Kickoff Boss.

🧑‍⚖️ Match Referees Are Here!

I’m excited to introduce Match Referees to Kickoff Boss!
Starting this season, every match will have an assigned referee who influences how the game is officiated based on their temper.

Studying referee behavior can now give you a real tactical edge.

🌍 Referee Assignment Rules

• Domestic matches use referees from the home team’s country.

• Continental competitions (Champions League, Continental Cup, Tournaments) use neutral referees from other countries within the same zone.

🔥 Referee Temper Types

Each referee has a unique temper that affects foul detection and card probability:

• Lenient referees
  Let the game flow. Fewer fouls called, less likely to show cards.

• Normal referees
  Balanced and fair officiating.

• Strict referees
  Quick whistle, higher chance of yellow and red cards.

📊 Where to Find Referee Information

Before a match

• The assigned referee is shown on the match preview screen.

• Click on the referee to see their full history and stats.

Browse all referees

• Visit the Country Referees page to browse referees registered in each nation.

• Compare yellows-per-match to quickly identify stricter officials.

⚽ Tactical Considerations

This is where things get interesting 👀

Before every match, take a moment to check the referee’s stats:

• Low yellows per match?
  → Consider using Hard Tackles — you may get away with more physical play.

• High yellows per match?
  → Stick to Normal or Soft Tackles to avoid cards and suspensions.

A referee averaging 0.5 yellows per match is very different from one averaging 2.0.
Use this information wisely!

📝 Notes

• Referee stats will build up over time as matches are played.

• Since referees are brand new, there is currently no historical data to predict their temper at the very start of the season.

• For now, referees influence foul detection and card probability only, more depth may come later.

• Translation of referee pages are underway.

✅ New Task System (Tutorial Phase)

We’ve also introduced a brand-new Task System.

At the moment:

• Every new manager receives a 10-task tutorial chain upon registration.

• These tasks guide players through essential game mechanics and systems.

This lays the foundation for future content:

• Event-related tasks

• Seasonal challenges

• Objectives for all managers, not just newcomers

where are the referee infos or names? i don't find them in the match preview

Just a graphic bug in Home Panel (have blank ) in the top of the page and cant see titles (Last Match / Next Match / Competition)
