on (1 day ago) Hello Managers! 👋 Season 23 is wrapping up and Season 24 brings a packed update, a brand new Items system, fresh ways to interact with your players, modifier rebalancing, and a long-awaited rework of cards and suspensions. Here's what's changing 👇 🟨🟥 Cards & Suspensions Per CompetitionYellow cards and bans are now tracked separately per competition instead of being shared across everything:
So a red card in the Champions League no longer makes a player miss a league fixture, and a 2nd-yellow ban in the cup no longer carries over to the league. Yellow accumulators reset at season start; pending bans carry into the new season (just like real football). And for the first time, International discipline is properly enforced, no more sneaking back after a red card. 🗣️ Player Talks (NEW)You can now have direct one-on-one conversations with your players from the player info screen. Pick a topic, the AI generates 3 manager lines for you to choose from, and your delivery rolls an accept chance based on the player's hidden personality. Initial topics:
72-hour cooldown per player per topic, plus a shorter team-wide 24h cooldown so it stays a deliberate choice, not a constant click. 🎁 Items System (NEW)Items are a new reward type that can be earned and spent. The first three items live now:
Items can be awarded as task rewards, and as tournament prizes tied to final position. More items will be added soon and also more ways to earn them. 🏥 Training InjuriesPlayers can now pick up injuries during training sessions, not just in matches. Risk factors:
If your squad already has someone injured, the odds of a second one in the same training cycle are reduced, to keep streaks under control. Recovery typically lands between a few hours and a day and a half. 😴 Lacking Playtime Modifier (NEW)A new -5% match performance modifier flags players who aren't getting enough playing time:
🔁 Modifiers No Longer StackIf a player would receive a modifier they already have active, the system now extends/refreshes the existing one instead of stacking duplicates. For example, two Man of the Match in a row in the same day don't double the bonus, same effect, longer duration. 🎙️ Press Conferences — 1 per Player per SeasonPlayer press conferences are now capped at one per player per season. The Positive Press Release modifier (+5% for a week) was being kept permanently active by repeatedly pressing the same star, which wasn't the intent. Team-level press conferences (every 7 days) are unchanged. ⭐ DED — Dedicated TraitA new player trait: Dedicated (DED). Dedicated players have extended careers, retirement odds are calculated as if they were 2 years younger, so a DED player typically plays around 2 more seasons before hanging up his boots. The new trait was rolled as a new trait for players ages 25 and younger, so you will find some players with this new trait already.
