I have a suggestion that I think would be really useful.
Why not add a feature that shows interest in each player?

When you open your squad, you could see for every player whether there are clubs interested in him or not — and if someone has added him to their shortlist, you’d be notified.

That way, if you have a player who’s attracting attention, you can decide whether to sell him or keep him.

But there's already a messaging system. Just send a message to the manager that you're interested in buying the player.

It wouldn't be bad, like receiving offers for players. But it would have to be carefully studied, because players would end up being transferred for free from one team to another.
