I totally agree, I've been proposing to use the leadership difference for a while.. I bet nicmo is tired to read that XD
But I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one with this idea :)
If it's not too complicated to implement, I would also suggest to recompute the bonus whenever a captain is subbed

i agree, both captain bonus that stadium bonus, the first depending from difference and second depending how many spect there are, it should be fair like this

What should really help and good for the funds is amount stars stadium x 0.5 captian bonus. This can force that people increase their stadium where most of them hold to 1 star what’s 5000 places, this helps also a bit to people who have already 16 stars, 80000 places, what’s now complete useless. So also players have more chooses what to put their upgrade stars. And again,it’s alsogood for funds, so this is a win win. This ofcourse this instead the current captian bonus of 5%. This also gives more income from your refs

In my opinion "Captain bonus" is trash.

In reality is not such thing. 

Ok , you can boost that captain player with 5% of his skills ( only because he is a captain), BUT to boost all team because you started game earlier and that player has more experience than other players who started later on, that`s not good.

5% on away team "captain bonus" is like you neutralize the 5% HOME BONUS  [only because you started the game earlier and have old, experienced(used) players].

And another interested thing, using an old player as captain ( high experience ) and then in min 15 of the game you sub him with a better young player just to take "Best Captain bonus"?  .....?

Leadership number can be used better, not just to use a player for only 15 mins to take a bonus and then remove him. 

Experience can be used for something else. 

Experience + skills must be the main reason for a player to be good or not. 

Is not enough to be young and have skills, you need experience to be a good palyer.

Adrià Ferrer  is my captain , I payed 37 euro for him , is enough for a captain , but my opinion is still the same.

Even if you buy captain from another player and you play the game like that , I dont think is a good thing.

A captian what only boosts the captian is useless. In that case you use your best player and ingore the leadership boost. So for whole team is best if you win. and it would be great if my suggestion 0.5 (leadershipbonus) x amount stadium stars. so at endly its between 0.5% and 8% captianbonus.

8% team boost? 

Take a player and use it 15 min to have  8% bonus for all team for the rest of the game?

This things will large the gap between "new incomers" and old players..

What expectations can have a new player who joined the game  with some minimum or medium investment against an old player with max captain + home advantage? 
Everything I said is to balance the game ,the ones with minimum investments should have a chanse.

I understand the home advantage: suporters , etc etc...

but captain bonus represents a gap in my opinion.

 

***To be clear, I have a 673 leadership captain atm. For my league is more than enough.

Idont have a problem in this area, but the game is fun when is more balanced.

yeah ok its crazy, but people can work on that to increase stadium. everybody can do that

fact also is that there must be something on stadium building, that its usefull to have high star there

i did bought twice an INF player and yes it helps a lot,

its free on people tu buy them or not
