The season is over and these are the major gameplay updates for season 6 based on your feedback, i will be updating the documentation soon.

Gameplay and Tactical Adjustments:

  • Removal of Items and Global Market: All items and the global market have been removed from the game.
  • Dynamic Player Condition: Player condition now depletes as players participate in the match rather than only being calculated at the end.
  • Tactical Overhaul - Mentality: The Mentality tactical option has been revamped. Setting the mentality to attacking grants bonuses to all attacking moves but applies penalties to defense moves, while a balanced setting provides neither bonuses nor penalties.
  • New Tactical Option - Tempo: The Tempo option, now independent of mentality, lets you set play speed to slow, balanced, or fast. This setting impacts the number of build-ups throughout the match.

Captain Bonuses and Adjustments:

  • Enhanced Captain Bonus: The Best Captain bonus now benefits both teams based on the captain’s experience bar, offering up to a 5% boost at full XP. For example, a 50% XP bar provides a 2.5% bonus.
  • Captain Substitution Rule: If you substitute your captain mid-match, the captain bonus will be recalculated for the new captain.
  • XP bar limit was increased from 400 to 1000xp

Economic and League Changes:

  • Adjusted Wages: Wages have been increased to balance out the removal of item sales from the global market.
  • Refined League Prizes: Division 1 league prizes have been raised to provide increased rewards.
  • Silent Refund for Stored Items: Any items bought and still held in the club’s inventory will be silently refunded.

Player and Team Management Updates:

  • Substitution Increase: Teams can now make up to 5 substitutions during official matches.
  • Medical Department Update: Injuries can no longer be healed outright. Instead, each medical level grants a 2% reduction in injury recovery time. Additionally, each level provides a physio to help players recover condition. This has to be done manually where you need to select what players are the most important.
  • New Dressing Room: Replacing the legal office, the Dressing Room now controls squad size limits. It allows for 27 players at level 1, 29 at level 2, 31 at level 3, 33 at level 4 and 36 players at level 5.
  • Player XP Warning Changes: The warning for inexperienced players now varies depending on experience: players with less than 10 XP or less than 40 XP will trigger distinct alerts.

Good update! But why does the morale has to go back to 80% at the start of every season? At least, make it percentual, as the last ranking of the previous league. For example: 1st place keep it 100, 2nd place 95 and so on...

Can you add the true skills of inexperienced players ?

exemple for a 0-10 XP player with 50 heading skill -> 50(30) ?

 

what about Moral ? we have all -6% at the beginning ?

what will happened to my >27 players if i have not a lvl2 house ?

Hey Nicmo, these were good changes, but I'm concerned that there is a huge disparity between the salaries of players and employees, part of the weight of the players' salaries could be passed on to the employees.

The match results are not realistic. Matches that end with absurd results 8-4, 5-4,7-1,5-3. This thing needs to be fixed. Thanks

well, i find realistic matches with 8-4, 5-4, 7-1, 5-3 where the opponents are full on attack mode in high tempo for 90min... obviously very little managers do that in real life but its your choice here and since this is a game, you can do whatever you wish... not to mention the diference in teams inside those situations.

Great update! @nicmo

Except for the Dressroom limitation, to be honest, I didn't like that part, because I couldn't see the point in it, which forced a lot of people to reorganize their ideal planning set up at the beginning of the season.

these are not realistic results for 11-a-side football but for 5-a-side football matches. Surely last season's results were more appropriate and realistic. The update is great but I think you should fix something so you don't see these absurd results. Then you are the Boss if you're okay with that, ok.

The only thing I don't like about this update is the replacement of the DRESSROOM legal office. I would never have spent 40 euros to have more players, 26 players are more than enough for a football club, like in reality. I would have thought of something else as a replacement for the legal office, something that is really worth spending 40 euros on. Surely this replacement will not bring much money to the game, many will leave it at the first level.

I like the new captain setting, but with this new update the Influential trait has no effect anymore or am I wrong?

Because if for the captain you consider just the experience, it means that right now the INF doesn't have any sense.

In my opinion you should correct by add a small bonus

hey Mister_R, the INF pickups the XP and adds on to it, so if you have a 100% xp bar, you can even get more than 5% bonus

I have 2 INF players and their Leadership is higher than their experience, there is already a bonus applied

Good changes overall. Just an opinion about some details:

1. For medical center the 10% difference between level 5 and nothing is too low. People who didn’t build this structure will not pay 25 euro for this tiny 10%. And people who already have it regret now about their decision to build, me also. Please make the healing speed more substantial, I see good balance at 5% for each level with 25% at level 5. Something like 50% faster healing or so seems to be too much or should cost much more.

2. 36 players for dressing room plus 13 more in youth center, this is 4 players for each position in first team. Looks like great changes for many managers right now, we all can train more players, sell them and get more money. And still no one cries that I am buying a young 3-star potential player for 10 euro, train all his main skills to 80 and can’t sell him even for 8 euro. No one cries right now because future is not now. I take all new game rules as it is and just adopt to them, no problem for me :)

And I welcome all other changes, good job.

@Alin For medical center you have to pay 40€ to upgrade from 1 to 5* and i totally agree - it isn't worth especially when injuries could last even 48 hours. Regardless of this you never know if the center works or not, because the time of injury is random

 

About number of players - transfer market is dead anyway, because of tons of players. No need to give them more and more.

40 euro for extra 4 physio? Is a bit cheap given they give u 2 energy back.

Should be 20 euro a level, lol.
