Hello everyone,

Today’s update changes how club expenses are calculated. Instead of using local currency as the base, all expenses will now be based on Platinum.

Why this change?

The main goal is fairness. With this update, every club will pay the same wages and expenses regardless of their country or the exchange rates between gold and local currency. For example, a player with 70 AVQ will now cost the same amount of Platinum for everyone. The previous system tried to mimic real life where big leagues have bigger wages and prizes but since we don't have players looking for transfers for better contracts, it doesn't really make sense here.

How was the Platinum base value set?

We used an average exchange rate of 50 Gold per Euro and 50 Local Currency per Gold as the reference point.

What does this mean for you?

• If your country’s exchange rate is below ~68, your weekly expenses will likely be lower.

• If your country’s exchange rate is above ~68, your expenses will be higher.

For example, in my case (Portugal), the exchange rate is around 70 per Gold, so after this change, I end up paying more in wages. Countries with large local prize pools will see a big drop as their biggest teams will now pay much less player wages.

We will see how things evolve and keep tweaking this.

@Thuru, issue here is that local currency lose any purpose, instead that is reorganise that local currency get more visibility, here is step in totally opposite side. Also, isn't fair that stadium income gives same platinum to everyone, not to have preference who has lower exchange rate? This update is only for satisfy people who crying that wages are high and not balancing their team properly

@Fletcher90, that's true; the stadium is still paying less money in countries with higher rates, as it was before.

However, salaries depend on the quality of the players, and with the new update, a club pays the same amount for the same player, regardless of the country. It seems fairer now, I would say, even if for my club the previous situation was probably more convenient, because the rewards in the national competitions will decrease in the next seasons in Italy and Romania.

On the contrary, stadium income doesn't depend on the strength of the club; it depends solely on its popularity. And, as we know very well, the level required to keep 100% popularity is different in different countries, and the more competitive countries usually have a lower rate. It's probably fairer to keep it as it is, as it pays more where you need a stronger team to have a high popularity. If we want to make it constant in €, the popularity should be computed differently (maybe Elo ranking?!)  

@Fletcher90 what balancing you talk about? Game was diying, people had to sell for nothing high skilled players due of wage, most quited due of their wage. There was a big cost to play per month vs income, players became worteless, 5 stars got to sell below 10E lol. Cost to run a team must be decent, not higher than players itself. BEfore this update, with 200E you could get a top end team but runing it would cost over 400E a month, 2 seasons with bad luck and people will quit. instead, now players can get up to high value, since, once u aquire a player, you can use it a long while and even if you fail in some seasons, it doesnt cost as much as it used.

Even when prizes get reduce its still better to have salary bases on plat. The salary is too high so this get be fixed. Over long time salary get still higher, this for who want higher avg players. I think now its even payable players with 90 avg. The CL/CC stay almost the same I think.

Now i should again regret my decision to change country second time :)  But this is just my personal situation. Anyway this update is very good for the game overall.

netherlands rate 59.79 NLG for 1 Gold, last monday I paid Almere paid the club wages to the Global Fund - Europe  -869.87 but when I check my office I see Total: 776.75 NLG ( 12.99 Gold ) per week

@PvPNyko ofc, this is a bad update for you, since, you re a leecher, but for the managers who kinda play the game serious, its a fair one. In each country are left 2-4 big teams which kinda raise the funds and rest of teams milking it. Rewards can be same or higher even now, instead to colect that amount of money from 2-4 managers, it can be colected now from more teams as probably, at curent cost, few others will try to get big. But, in old sistem, there was no will to get big, even if rewards were big, it was quite hard to breakeven even wining all competitions lol, the main focus used to be Keep players avq below 80 for a lower wage, train uselss skills once u get at that level or fish a new country where exchange rate was better.

Ok the salary is now the same in each country, but not the reward. For example, in A1 Romania, the victory reward is 37 G. In A1 France, it's 6,24 G (6 times less !). The 1st place in A1 Romania gives 4 444 . In France, it's only 326  G (13 times less !)

I think this update will make player from "non-top" country to leave the game because they can't pay salary.

@micl314, the rewards depend on the old salaries. In the next seasons, they will become smaller where the salaries drop and will become higher when the salaries increase

@PvPNyko thats simple, cause, your concern is that once nicmo made wages a fair sistem around all countries, rewards will go down, you re not trying to be competitive or to play the game at all, you just want to enjoy some wins while others pumping money into game, even if he wouldnt  made this change, there wouldnt be many rewards anyway, giving by example the country where you re now, been many competitive players with big expenses, most of them accepted the lose and quited . So, if you want rewards, start use your wallet

L'aggiornamento di oggi cambia il modo in cui vengono calcolate le spese del club . Invece di utilizzare la valuta locale come base, tutte le spese saranno ora basate sul Platino .

Perché questo cambiamento?

L'obiettivo principale è l'equità. Con questo aggiornamento, ogni club pagherà gli stessi stipendi e spese, indipendentemente dal Paese di appartenenza o dal tasso di cambio tra oro e valuta locale. Ad esempio, un giocatore con 70 AVQ ora costerà la stessa quantità di Platino per tutti. Il sistema precedente cercava di imitare la realtà, dove i campionati più importanti offrono stipendi e premi più alti, ma poiché non abbiamo giocatori in cerca di trasferimenti per contratti migliori, non ha molto senso qui.

Come è stato impostato il valore base del Platino?

Abbiamo utilizzato come punto di riferimento un tasso di cambio medio di 50 oro per euro e 50 valuta locale per oro .

Cosa significa questo per te?

• Se il tasso di cambio del tuo Paese è inferiore a ~68 , le tue spese settimanali saranno probabilmente inferiori .

• Se il tasso di cambio del tuo Paese è superiore a ~68 , le tue spese saranno più elevate .

Ad esempio, nel mio caso (Portogallo), il tasso di cambio è di circa 70 per oro , quindi dopo questa modifica, finisco per pagare di più in stipendi. I paesi con grandi montepremi locali subiranno un forte calo, poiché le loro squadre più importanti pagheranno ora stipendi molto più bassi ai giocatori.

Vedremo come evolveranno le cose e continueremo a perfezionarle.

@Minecodersam it fixes it cause, despite of how local currency market its  manipulated, you pay same wage. For example, if a team has wages worth 20E, no matter if local currency is 15 or 100, you convert 20euro at any rate to cover their wages.
