This could be an option similar with name, height, foot with a fee paid to local federation.

I think you can get some ideas from football management Ultra (FMU), where they have one coach elected to manage the national team. His responsibility is to find good national players and put them to playing in national team squad.

@antoniocrgomes, as long as no money is involved, that could be feasible.

With the previous youth system, it could have made sense to make the National Team an integral part of KOB, and even reward the federations with the best teams, as the players were always generated from users playing in that federation.

With the new system, the strongest nations would be those with the most favourable spawns. There is no point in rewarding pure luck

We could do it like in real life, the ability of have a 2nd citizenship for a player after X amount of seasons in a country.
