Hey guys,

Right now, clubs can have whatever name they like, and the names don't even have to be unique. This can be a problem if the same league has three clubs with exactly the same name, which could be disturbing for some, I guess.

Would you rather have total freedom with club names, or should whoever picks the name first take it?

I would say better of having the name once, but would it not need to be once in the game and not the league as are you not planning stuff like champions league so spanish arsenal could play english arsenal

@nicmo, my vote will go to unique name too.

Notes:
Only set name team in your nationality, if got other country for example: only get team name in your country.

Like a "main list" to selector in each country, if not like, can set other name except name reserved "main list" of all country, this will avoid select same name club.

I would say unique names, but it's probably almost useless anyway. That won't prevent having many clubs with similar name (e.g. Milan, A.C.Milan, ACMilan, MILAN..)

Unique name, just repeat it in different leagues because that's how it is in reality. Another thing is that the names of the same league are different, for example: Milan, Athletic Milan, ACMilan.
Do not repeat them either in upper or lower case, for example: Milan, milan, MILAN, this should not happen in the same league. This is what I suggest, I hope you understand my suggestion.
