I would like to filter based on position and order by age, avq or potential.

Ordering options (including Current bid) could also be added to the normal player market.

I would remove the entire free player market, it would just be a plus to the normal market

They definitely bite each other because they both sell players and if someone needs a cheap player, they can find it in both markets, but that's not necessarily bad.

In the free players market starting bids are lower, which could probably reduce the probability of selling cheap players in the other market, and also lead to firing unsold players who then recharge the free market.

The main difference is the destination of the funds: the free market feeds national funds, player market feeds the partners fund

If free player market would be removed, transactions for buying players from free market would move to the normal player market.. This would create more competition in the auctions, which is a good thing. 

Would be pretty useful for Europe.

The idea that the free market interferes with the regular is absurd. Managers only fire their players when they can't sell them on the regular market, or won't bother bc of low value. Before free market these players just disappeared and never generated any further income for anyone.
