Picking up on Alin's suggestion about squad size limits and some people suggesting no limits, here is what i suggest and why...

Having no limits is dangerous, we will have farm teams with lots of players getting trained by managers with a lot of patience making daily friendlies to rotate all those players. Wages wont be important because 40 to 60 AVQ players don't have big wages. This would saturate the market with players with only a few managers doing this. Not even touching the realism part.

The current limit is 30 players and this is fairly high already, but we can make this bigger and smaller at the same time. What i am planing is this:

A new infrastructure with 5 levels of dressing room size, everyone starts at level 1, with a limit of 26 players since everyone starts the game with 20 players, it gives plenty of room to play with the transfer market.

level 1 - 26
level 2 - 28
level 3 - 30
level 4 - 33
level 5 - 36

Each level with a construction cost and maintenance like other infrastructure.

personally, i think a building will be good, but entry , level 1 should be 30 players and raise, at level 5 it should be a high limit, like 50 players. Even if people farm youths and train them with patience, it only generate money to game funds, rather this than having to overpay for a player due of lack of options...

I agree with what you say. There also has to be a limit; those who want more players pay to have them.

because if everyone could have 36 players, they would flood the market, so there is a control

I agree with the idea, as the squads need to have some kind of limit, in order to not have more dominating teams, with unlimited squads. Don't be like Chelsea.

I would just adjust the limit a little bit higher: 1 for all levels (level 1 with 27 players, 2 with 29, 3 with 31, 4 with 34 and 5 with 37), or 1 from level 1 to 3 and keep the suggested limits for higher levels (level 1 with 27 players, 2 with 29, 3 with 31, 4 with 33 and 5 with 36).
This would be a compromise between current established limit of 30 and the new limits on level 1. Also, there's the training tutor, who makes managers to need 1 more player for every position, making the need for up to 4 more players, for who trains.

agree with bigs_nuno too, you need to take in account the actual limit of 30

 

The max need to be around 33 34 or we will have farm team wit 5 stars coach

i dont agree, all times was 30, so the base should be 30. people hire youth's have already team around these limit, and for next season you want erase energy boosters..

I think it should be 30 and up. up to a maximum limit of 40

Totally agree.

With no doubt only 15 players are used by all the managers.=, so even 30 is too much

I agree with argument that we can get a game of farm teams. Farming kills the player’s value. With 30 players in main and 13 players in youth squads we are already going this way. So my opinion about dressing room is 26 to 30 players for level 1 to 5, and (don’t bite me) 3 to 7 players limit for a level 1 to 5 youth center. And better without random players. This way we can have an adequate number of players on the market with good value. Tutoring for young players is also creates an inflations of skills with time and should be removed. It’s better to make some smaller bonuses for training skills or experience when we have a youth league or in training. But youth league is not really needed.

Please think about game balance in future and remember that we are now playing in the first stage of a new game where 2+ potential young players are not older than 19 years. The current luck of this players on transfer market will disappear soon when teams with 43 strong players will start to sell most of them to free some room for new quality youngsters.

And I also don’t like boosters for bonuses or any other ideas when teams can directly change money for team strength. We can find many smarter ideas to create smaller benefits of some skills or details of team tactics instead of boosters. We still have no information about player’s skills and how they are used in different situations in match engine. When you reveal this in documentation there will be many interesting ideas how to get benefits of some tactics and skills in match engine. Just my humble opinion.

It's a good idea, it would really give more reality and importance to the market. But perhaps it would be more interesting to "limit" it binary. For example, if you are interested, you pay it and you get to exceed the limit and if not, then you stick to it. This defines the player and his role. Comptedidor or creator who is ultimately the spirit of the game.

3 level 22

4 level 23

5 level 24

having such low limit of players is totaly bad. Tutoring alone occupy 4 places in team, lets not say having a competitive team under next season rules where a rotation is needed, consumables are eliminated, whole budget will relly on purchases of youths, wages and other expenses like this. Having limits will most likely not keep budget at curent values, it will just go down, more. Its known youths, once they reach 17 yo, they have 0 xp, a big penalty, playing 2 at once is close to lose  a game already, So, apart these promovated youths, we also need real players to use in strong games, before decisions are made, this should be considered too. There are a lot of people who are willing to spend but this change will most likely block this option for most....

adrian, the current suggestion lifts the limit from 30 to 36, it should help your concern by 6 players.

If I'm not wrong, he is just saying that the first limit from Level 1 should be starting from 30 players, not from 26.

let's raise it to 28 which would then be lowering it to the minimum of 28 since it is already at 30 then whoever wants more can spend but for me 26 is not much

Good idea Nicmo.

Having space for 36 players is enough.

That means that every manager can have triple option on every position and a 3 spair places.

Really 36 players? For what? The absolute maximum should be about 25 players. We will make everything easier and we will rule out trading again, because instead of trying with 25 players, we will draw only 20 youths to complete the team.

Its misunderstanding with such large amount of players...

30 limit is good for free players...do not force them to pay for everything...teams that want more players in team should pay, for each 2 more place they should pay big amount of money...but for free players if you started the game with 30 players keep it like it is

Hello Nicmo. The number of players each team can have is a competition rule and all teams must follow the same rule. It's the same situation with yellow cards and the number of substitutions, they all follow the same rule without benefiting anyone. In short, changing the player limit should create a rule for everyone and not create yet another way to unbalance the game.
