Updates and Tweaks 27/10/26

Hello Managers! 👋

There's a new trophy to chase: the Club World Cup. Every season, the four regional Champions League winners meet on neutral ground to decide the best club in the world, and the first edition kicks off on the 1st November 🏆

🏆 What is the Club World Cup?

Win your region's Champions League (Europe, Asia & Oceania, Americas or Africa) and your club plays the Club World Cup at the start of the next season.

• It's a short knockout: semi-finals on day 1 and the final on day 3, both at 13:00.
• Every match is a single game, with extra time and penalties if needed.
• All matches are on neutral ground: no home advantage, and the ticket money is split 50/50 between both clubs.

⚙️ How It Works

• The draw happens at the season change. The semi-finals are seeded by Elo: 1 v 4 and 2 v 3.
• Managing more than one of the four clubs? The draw keeps your clubs apart in the semi-finals whenever it can.
• The final is set automatically as soon as both semi-finals are played.
• These are official matches: players earn the same experience as in a Champions League match, and Elo changes as usual.
• Cards and bans are shared with the Champions League and Continental Cup: a suspension picked up in the CL or CC carries into the Club World Cup, and the other way round.
• Everything counts for the season it's played in: Season 30's Club World Cup is between the Season 29 Champions League winners.
• You'll get an alert when your club is drawn, after each match and when you reach the final.
• It has its own page in the World menu, with this season's matches, past winners and the prize fund: https://kickoffboss.com/game/club_world_cup.php

💰 Prizes

• Every season, 1% of each region's Global Fund goes into the Club World Cup pot.
• The winner gets 50% of the pot, the runner-up 25% and each losing semi-finalist 12.5%.
• Like in the Champions League, clubs pay the usual 15% tax to their federation, and the prizes earn sVCT like any other gold prize.
• A club without a manager isn't paid, its share stays in the pot for the next edition.
• The Prize Fund tab shows the pot, the prizes and every transaction in and out of it.
