There's a new way to put your VCT wallet to work, and it came straight from a community suggestion: you can now back other managers with your VCT.
🤝 What is Backing?
Until now, the VCT in your linked wallet boosted only your own gold prizes: every time your club won gold, you earned sVCT based on how much VCT you hold.
Now you can point that earning power at someone else. Back another manager, and whenever their clubs win gold prizes, your allocated VCT generates sVCT, split 50/50 between you and them.
A quick example:
You back SuperManager with 50% of your wallet.
SuperManager wins a Champions League match, and your allocated share generates 1000 sVCT.
You receive 500 sVCT, SuperManager receives 500 sVCT, on top of whatever their own wallet already earns them.
Think of it like copy-trading, struggling in Division 4 but holding a big bag of VCT? Back a title contender and earn from their trophies. Built a top team? Managers will want to back you, and their success becomes your bonus income.
⚙️ How It Works
Go to My Victory Tokens and find the Back Other Managers section.
Allocate your wallet in steps of 10%, to up to 10 different managers, up to 100% total.
Whatever you don't allocate keeps earning on your own prizes, exactly as before.
The same page shows who is backing you.
You need a linked wallet with VCT to back someone, but anyone can be backed, no wallet needed to receive.
All backing earnings show up in your transaction history like any other sVCT reward.
🗓️ One Important Rule
Allocations can only be changed during the season change, days 28 to 31 of each month. Outside that window they are locked, so no jumping ship after every Champions League round 😉
The window is open right now, so you can set your allocations for Season 28 today.
❓ Quick Answers
Do I lose my VCT? No. Your VCT never leaves your wallet, backing only redirects where your sVCT earnings come from.
Does backing cost the backed manager anything? No, it's pure bonus income for them.
When is it worth it? If a manager earns more than double the gold prizes you do, backing them beats earning on your own prizes.
If I do nothing? Nothing changes, your whole wallet keeps earning on your own prizes.
As always, report bugs in the forum or on Discord.
If one player has already shared their wallet with another, and another player has also shared theirs, does the prize end up being smaller because it's divided by 3?

@speedtuning no. Each backer is calculated separately. Your allocated VCT generates its own sVCT based on the prize, and that amount is split 50/50 between you and the manager you back. Other people backing the same manager don't affect your share at all, the more backers a manager has, the more everyone earns in total, nobody gets diluted. The gold prize itself is also never touched, backing only generates extra sVCT on top.
Basically, it's as if we were using our VCT and the prizes earned by someone else for staking, rather than ours... maybe it's time for me to open a second club in America XD
Not really fan of this change, VCT token initially was booster of rewards for your team, and push all people who owns VCT to invest more in thier team, now it only push top teams to invest in team to attract more backers.
Yes, people will earn more VCTs, but overally is better that all teams improves not only top ones
In my opinion, this is a very dangerous update, my friend. You should consider setting some limits, such as limiting a coach to no more than three assignments. This could be a good idea. Otherwise, it would create a passive income of very high sVCT tokens only for the big teams, because only those who are chosen will be selected. Therefore, they would use the passively received tokens to create new, very powerful young players. Therefore, the big teams will become even bigger.
In the previous post, I wrote "bad idea," and I was referring to the VCTs. Now I'll explain why. As for the Arena, however, it's an excellent update.
My opinion is that we should encourage a lot of people to build good teams to have more competition. Instead, with this update, it's no longer worth building a good team. Just direct your VCTs to three teams that play in the CL, also giving 50% of the VCTs you earn. This way, we'll always have the same three strong teams and then the remaining teams will be empty. This is my opinion.
