Hello,

As another dynamic and story-filled chapter of KOB comes to an end, I thought this short break could be the perfect moment to introduce a few thoughtful updates, improvements that would keep the competitive spirit alive and reward the dedication of active managers.

One area that might need attention is the situation of abandoned clubs. Many of these clubs still hold talented players who remain locked away and unused, while active managers continue to build, invest, and push the game forward.

I’d like to propose that players from abandoned clubs be automatically placed on the

 market in the following season after their manager’s abandonment, being replaced by game engine–generated players.

This change would:

  • Make valuable, unused resources available to the active community;
  • Help maintain the game’s balance and competitiveness;
  • Ensure transparency through public notifications on the forum and Discord before releasing the players (placing them on The market).

This measure could help maintain a vibrant and engaging environment for everyone, allowing every story within KOB to continue evolving.

Looking forward to your feedback or thoughts on this idea!

Sounds good, these abandoned players are a wasted potential.

 To avoid any misunderstanding ‼️ the idea is not to move these players to the free market, since that would limit access and encourage speculation. Instead, they should be made available in an open player market, accessible to all managers, sold in euro (platinum) to ensure fairness and equal opportunity.

For quality players will be fine, just worried that market will be flooded by cheap 1star players which are better and cheaper than 1star youth. Smaller club will not buy anymore new youths.

@Fletcher99,

That’s actually an excellent observation .You’re absolutely right, flooding the market with 1 star players could reduce the incentive for smaller clubs to invest in youth development. Maybe, considering that these released players would be replaced by 1 star generated ones anyway, we could exclude the 1 star category entirely from this process and start the replacement from 2 star players and above.

I had proposed something similar in the past, but it was only intended for top-level players because otherwise it would most likely affect the players market.

For example, it could be applied only to National Team players, or only to those over an AQ threshold (for example, 75 AQ)

That’s a really good idea!

I’ve noticed some team managers are also hunting for lower AVQ players, even one star players from abandoned teams… That’s why I tried to balance it a bit, so everyone gets a shot, not just the top level players and managers.

Just my idea, happy to brainstorm together !

-1, I dont like the idea. There are many ways to get new players, you dont need to fill the market with them.
