there is always a random factor. Example in netherland Some years ago did Ajax lose from an amateur club. More than 20 years ago ever an amateur club reached in Germany did reach in cup the final. Ofcourse it lose the final, but it was a wonder and much luck that it reached that. Same story with Ajax what did lost in 3rd round.

if a youth is well trained and 20 year age its good enough to put it in basic. Let Anyway youth play as sub for 15 minits until penalty is gone. You can use your CL or CC matches for that so that move the penalty fast. If you have ever bought or pulled an INF player let it always play as sub, until player is good enough to play in basic.

If your talking about last match vs Hollywood and your idea of better/worse team is the teams AVQ, then you have a +3.4% diference in AVQ, which is small... then you have -4% Team Morale diference, -3% formation experience and around -3% player condition. So that's a net difference of -6.6%, so your team is actually worse.
