Updates and Tweaks 04/04/25

Hello everyone, hope you have a great weekend ahead of you!

• Players Average Quality (AVQ) calculations were changed today, the goal is to create a fairer player wage base to work with. Since player wages are based on player AVQ (and age), the match engine does not use AVG and not all skills were part of the AVQ calculation, this meant you could improve players in some areas without affecting wages, this is not fair.
  • AVQ now uses all the skills players can actually use during matches, obviously some skills are used more than others for GK, Defenders, etc, so they have different weights (as before).
  • Most of you will see a drop in AVQ in your players, this does not mean they are worse, the match engine does not use AVQ, their skills remain the same but because we had to spread the weight between more skills that are probably lower, the AVQ decreases. Your players will play just as good as before.
  • Because AVQ of your team may decrease, so will your weekly wages.
  • Some teams might take a little longer than others to update their AVQ.
• In the player information panel there is now a link next to the player total skills that will take you to an AVQ calculator in case you want to try and see how changes to skills affect AVQ.
• Every country will now have access to a small list of amateur players that can be signed for a small fee, they have no experience, not young, low skills, 1 star potential and no traits.
  • When a player is signed, another will replace him in the list.
  • Each team can only sign 3 players per season.
  • This is mainly to help badly managed teams that end up without players after retirements.

Negative transfers probably gonna hit harder hahaha. 64 aq dl player turn 61. 60aq strike turn 58aq. You though of how  it affect the player transfer market?

Oh and it affect player market value you refuse to fix, my dl 64 aq had

20+ platinum values, now you dropped aq and so the value also dropped to 13 platinum.

why people is so fixed with the avq? it changes nothing with the engine lol

Further update FAILURE. You could refund all the companies the money of salaries paid to date for your wrong calculation. THANK YOU.

Looks like the avq values didn't change much so probably not a big issue. The avq calculator was a mess anyway.

This change decreased the value of the players.

I want to clarify, the avg is going down, but the wages still same with previously. Can u explained further about this?

my wage went down like about 20% less, so should be the same for everyone, check better

Pretty frustrating, that the 4 euro player I bought, was worth 7 euro, now he decreased to 3.5 euro worth. A lot of worth gone. I just lost so much potential profit if a bigger club wanted him.
I can never sell any of my players for higher than bought now.

This is an improvement for the game, shame not everybody see that yet.
This changes are very good. More balance between team wages.

Player value means nothing. is based on previous transfers. No one buys players based on their shown values

Because of high wages in Romania , big teams did a lot of market manipulation with the GOLD-RON.

Now they cannot stack so much RON in their pockets.

( with this new update, now they can stack 50% of the value they could do before )

I dont need to check anything i know my wages , its go up for 4 gold from yesterday

If salaries have decreased and the game engine still favors teams that pay 20 times less, it's the same thing, I prefer to withdraw from this game...

I would like an option to sell the club to ‘the game'”, because it is not viable for those who invested to abandon it , even in the conditions in which they will sell the players... I would like you to also think about a guarantee in this regard, @Nicmo, please! 🫶🤗

I see that there is not much charges in salary in my case so its fine.

maybe idea to increase amateur what you can hire to 5 or 7 and decrease the hire salary to 5 local currency this because I saw by Some teams that they have a lot of retire players and are almost on the minimum of 16 players in a Squad, so they can hire if needed. I shall not use this function. Last thing, add also gk amateur.

Where can I find the calc for skill or avg or whatever so I can see what impact it can be to train player on whatever skill, cant find it

i can understand all those change but it will be diffucult to survive if the rules change at each big Update

take in account secondary skills its a good job anyway

I'd like to say 2 things:

- Avg is false that it doesn't mean anything. It indicates if a player is good or bad. If not you can see all A leagues, the winners or first teams have +70 avg, noone have 60.

- there are still players who don't use some skills to calculate avg...so have we to consider that these skills are not usefull because if these skills are not paid inside salary...?

If the answer for my 2nd question is that these skills are not used...then why not do them fixed? Unable to modify then in case of error and with a different color or so, to see what is not useful.

On KoB we do not all have the same information regarding the functioning and dynamics of the game engine. There are people who help Nicmo in modifying the game, learning information about the structure and dynamics of the game engine, finding themselves more advantaged than other users with much stronger teams. This leads to an unequal treatment, in fact we often see that small or weaker teams manage to do impossible things, making them pass for PHENOMINI. But this thing has not happened today but always. I hope that the boss puts an end to this situation by giving everyone the opportunity to play on equal terms. THANK YOU.

Literally ridiculous to believe that a strategic-managerial game should rely on investment to determine a player's strength. Do you want to spend your money and earn money through investments? Go and buy some good financial instruments. In a strategic game, strategy should rule. I like all of you, money burners. LOL

This update has affected my players are all very cheap and useless averages very poor, maybe it's the end ofy career here, I may go back to top eleven 🕚

This doesn't affect player in any ways in match, they'll perform same as before. I think the update also now has

positive impact on market, due to reduce in wages some managers are shopping for bigger squad and it's been positive impact so far on player market. Your player value maybe on the pick also in time to come. Currently Player values are the result of recent market transfers for similar players in the market and not calculated by player avq. If the market has positive run then players values increase. Avq don't determine player values except for the newly signed youth i believe. Sit tight and stay competitive man :)
