Regarding the exact score prediction, I couldn’t find any information stating that the result after extra time would be taken into account. Therefore, I predicted a 1–1 score at the end of regular time in the final, assuming it would be settled according to the standard practice used by bookmakers and most prediction competitions, where only the result after 90 minutes counts.

If the current prediction league standings are final, then the lack of this information cost me a place on the podium.

@nicmo; for future editions, please include this information in the rules to avoid any similar misunderstandings.

Hi zonutv, thanks for raising this. The exact-score scoring uses the final score after extra time (penalty shootouts don't count). That's how the engine records match results across the whole game, so we apply the same rule to predictions for consistency. The final was officially 1-2 on the books, so a 1-1 prediction scored 0 points for you.

You're right that the rule wasn't documented though. I've just added a one-line note on the prediction tabs to make this explicit for future editions. Appreciate you playing and the feedback.
