💶 Stadium Tickets — Set Your Own Prices

You can now adjust your ticket prices directly from the Stadium page!

• Higher prices mean more revenue per ticket, but they’ll also reduce attendance and popularity.

• Matches played on neutral grounds still use the base ticket price.

• Attendance calculations have been reworked to account for your pricing strategy.

📈 Federation Funds — Seasonal History Chart

A new graphic on the Federation Funds page now displays your country’s balance history across seasons.
Keep an eye on your nation’s financial evolution!

🌟 Popularity System Revamp

Popularity changes from match results are now percentage-based, not fixed.
That means:

• Win or lose, you’ll gain or lose a proportion of your current popularity — scaling with your reputation.

• A new Popularity panel has been added!
  → Click your club popularity % in the left menu to track detailed changes over time.

• On this season update, all clubs under 10 Popularity will have 10% popularity and all clubs above 90 will have 90% popularity.

🧒 Youth League — More Experience per Match

Players in the Youth League now earn 0.2 experience points per match, up from 0.1.

🤖 Elite Bot Teams

Each country now has 6 Elite Bot teams (average quality around 55–60).

• They can’t be taken over by real managers.

I hope this month's update will improve my team's income. Last season, I only had 893 NLG left (with 15 wins, 2 draws and weekly expenses 790 NLG). I disagree with existence of 6 elite bot teams in each country, because with my poor financial situation, I can only afford a team with 58 AVQ. What happens when I have to compete against bots with 55-60 AVQ?

I think you could separate the infrastructure, leaving one page just for the stadium and one page for the rest of the infrastructure. Regarding the update, very good. Good work.

League prize fund is a big nono...

Now the big teams don't have to see to their wages, before you had to calculate teamstrength vs wages.

Now you don't because you get the wage back by price money.

I don't understand the "improvement" in prizes. When an idea is raised on the forum, users discuss it... and no conclusion is reached.

I think it was something that warranted a more thorough restructuring. It's not even halfway normal that the prizes for a fourth division are higher than for a third. That's one of the biggest flaws in the improvement introduced. Don't move up, stay in the fourth division, and you'll receive better prizes... LOL.

On the other hand... as if the current bots weren't enough... now six mid-level bots are joining... Let's see, there are things you don't need a college degree to see. Players who want to invest money already do so. You can motivate them a little, but they'll invest. And players who don't want to invest, because they don't want to or can't, won't do it, especially if you're forcing them.

A game grows if it has a good community, and in that community there are players, the vast majority of whom play for free, and those of us who invest also need those who don't.

In some leagues with few users, these bots will mean that players who were trying to progress slowly without investing money may see that progress cut short. They're being told to either invest... or stop playing...

@Fletcher90 big teams will get the most benefit from tickets as they can crank up the price since they are already close to max popularity and can take the penalty, earning much more.

@Kasyade a conclusion is "never" reached, either players that invest don't like it or free to play players don't like it. The whole division prize based on weights is an old update, if you see a division that pays more than one one above its because someone is there paying a lot of wages, if that club moves up, the prizes will follow as the weight moves up as well.
Bots will try to keep free to play players from climbing too high up, taking money from the prizes unjustly. I understand the confusion with other games but KOBs economy has no pretend money, we cant simply print funds to give away, for this reason, free to play players will always be limited on how much they can earn, or else people that actually build their teams will feel cheated.

@Matthew Inner series prize distribution did not change a great deal with this change, due to the fact that half of the prize is still calculated the old way, another half the new way. Just as proposed on the forum by me and others.

No entiendo la "mejora" en los premios. Cuando se plantea una idea en el foro, los usuarios la discuten... y no se llega a ninguna conclusión.

Creo que era algo que justificaba una reestructuración más profunda. No es ni la mitad de normal que los premios para una cuarta división sean más altos que para una tercera. Esa es una de las mayores fallas en la mejora introducida. No subas, quédate en la cuarta división y recibirás mejores premios... LOL.

Por otro lado... como si los bots actuales no fueran suficientes... Ahora se unen seis bots de nivel medio... Veamos, hay cosas que no necesitas un título universitario para ver. Los jugadores que quieren invertir dinero ya lo hacen. Puedes motivarlos un poco, pero invertirán. Y los jugadores que no quieren invertir, porque no quieren o no pueden, no lo harán, especialmente si los estás obligando.

Un juego crece si tiene una buena comunidad, y en esa comunidad hay jugadores, la gran mayoría de los cuales juegan gratis, y los que invertimos también necesitamos a los que no lo hacen.

En algunas ligas con pocos usuarios, estos bots significarán que los jugadores que intentaban progresar lentamente sin invertir dinero pueden ver ese progreso truncado. Se les dice que inviertan... o dejar de jugar...

@Kasyade "nunca" se llega a una conclusión, o a los jugadores que invierten no les gusta o a los jugadores de free to play no les gusta. Todo el premio de la división basado en pesos es una actualización antigua, si ve una división que paga más de uno por encima de es porque alguien está allí pagando muchos salarios, si ese club sube, los premios seguirán a medida que el peso suba también.
Los bots intentarán evitar que los jugadores libres suban demasiado alto, tomando dinero de los premios injustamente. Entiendo la confusión con otros juegos, pero la economía de KOB no tiene dinero ficticio, no podemos simplemente imprimir fondos para regalar, por esta razón, los jugadores gratuitos siempre estarán limitados en cuanto a cuánto pueden ganar, o de lo contrario, las personas que realmente construyen sus equipos se sentirán engañadas.

A player improves when they compete against other players, not against bots. Free players can improve their teams, their stadiums, their infrastructure over time, and more slowly than a player who invests, they can also reach the elite. This is just a hurdle in their path.

It's possible that there are a few free players in the game trying to make money outside of the game. There's everything in life. But anyone who treats this game as an investment is either desperate or has no idea about finance. The investment-to-time ratio in this type of product must be 0.0000001 euros per second? Maybe I'm even being generous.

In the end, it's just another game. Yes, the economic engine is based on the real money coming into the game. If money stops coming in, the economy collapses.

But that's where you're wrong. A free player also helps that economic engine. If that player improves, the player who invests money will invest more money to stay at the top. A free player, with time and cunning, can acquire good players, and even trade players, buying them cheaply, thus generating a profit. Therefore, this boosts the economic engine.

You have a whole world of options to encourage real money to flow into the game without harming free-play players.

You already have sellable items within the game, but I think they're poorly optimized. For example, coaches. It's more expensive to train a coach than to sign a new one. Match that, or make it cheaper. There will be players who want to upgrade their first coach out of nostalgia, and they'll be forced to fire him and sign a new one.

Add customization features to all club infrastructure in exchange for a small monthly fee. For example, customize your stadium for 1 euro a month. Create kit designs and auction them off monthly. For example, one jersey design adds 0.01% morale to the team, the big leg adds 0.01% physical recovery, etc.—small boosts that barely affect the game's balance but have some appeal to the most competitive managers.

Find sponsors for the game who will contribute some money each month.

In short, there are thousands of things you can do, with minimal impact on the game's sports engine, that can provide an economic boost.

If you don't have any ideas, ask your player community for help, but don't open consultations and then ignore their opinions.

One last marketing tip: the most successful games have a 90-95% free player base. Those that stay with you over time end up making micropayments. And only 0.5% of players actually invest large amounts of money.

You and the rest of the players who spend money may continue to underestimate free players, but they are the foundation for a game or franchise to endure over time and maintain long-term economic viability.

@Nicmo, I see that calculation for stadium attendance is changed, previously with my 98% and opponent 50% I had 66k, which I assume that 80k attendance is max, but now is different, my 90% and opponent 50% gives 77k, so you are right, it gives benefit to big teams.

i can safely now say that the elite bots idea it s very poorly designed. I mean, it s not a bad idea but it doesn t take into account the country specifics. In my country, we are only 4-5 teams managed by real people. I have made my calculations, invested, but without real players in the league, it makes no sense to grow my team more. I have increased a bit my stadium, a bit my training facility, buying players...but without real managers the bonuses for the wins or even winning the league are very low. Also the tickets are very low income. So, i cannot increase the quality of my team or facilities because the maintenance costs and salaries will be a lot higher than any incomes. I will have to keep investing in regular basis, just to maintain the team. Now, the elite teams you introduced, they are same quality all over the world...blanket decision. In Romania for example, these teams with their 55-60 quality they make small difference, in some other country might indeed give more motivation. But in countries like mine....they are just destroying the competition. None of the 4-5 teams who are managed can compete. Yet, the elite bots do not increase the bonuses of the league. In the long run...the league will just be dead.

I think the elite bots should come with a quality formula that adapts to the realities of each country

@fumantsu hi, your team would benefit from a press conference to boost team morale, checked your last match, don't drop deep if opponent is playing shoot on sight (long shots). Beating the elite bots is the minimum entry for international competitions. If you learn some of the game's little details it should be doable.

I think the issue with elite bots needs adjusting. It makes sense to fill leagues where there's a shortage of human players, but I think we all prefer playing against humans. It doesn't make sense to remove promotion spots in C leagues.

In my opinion, bots shouldn't be able to be promoted, and if you ask me, they should be relegated in each league until all of them are made up entirely of active human teams.

It's pointless for people to be working hard to climb the ranks only to have a bot take their spots.

I also think the game's reputation system is poorly balanced.

At first, with the stadium's limited capacity, I could set the price at the maximum and still fill it, which was an advantage. To address this, the system was readjusted two seasons ago, and now, even with the cheapest tickets possible, I can't fill the stadium because my reputation is at 1%. I think the system should have been completely reset at the very least, but oh well, since I profited the first time, it's not a big deal.

My point is that it's virtually impossible to significantly increase your reputation these days. After two seasons with the cheapest tickets, I think I've only managed to increase my reputation by 0.08%. In a season where I'm relegated, I might gain +0.3-0.4 reputation, and the next season, in a more difficult league, I lose practically everything I've gained.

It would be great to be able to offer ticket discounts to attract more spectators or improve your reputation in exchange for lower ticket revenue. Whatever you can think of, but the reputation system right now is practically set in stone and hardly changes.

Maybe setting a min value for the popularity would solve the problem. Or making it impossible to raise the price below a certain popularity value, to avoid suicides XD

training get fast enough. Specially 5 star players train very fastly. And yes 1 star trains slow whats logical.
