Changes to Youth League

With the first season of Youth League done, some changes will be made for next season. Also, during this test season, the calculations of prizes during knockout stage was wrong and 1200 gold was awarded in excess. For this reason many people felt the rewards for top 4 teams were high.

Incoming Changes:

• 8 groups of 4 teams instead of 4 groups of 8 teams
• Knockouts starts at 1/8 finals
• Add group promotion prize
• Add runner up prize

The Youth league page can appear broken during this transition changes.

A question. Today was the first matchday, and my young players' training session says they haven't played in the last 24 hours. I don't understand why this option isn't activated. I play in this league for the sake of it, not for the prizes. We all know the teams that make it to the quarterfinals will reap the rewards.

@Caiman I don't think it would be a good idea to activate that. They already have the tutor, if it was also applied the match bonus a player who stays in the youth team until 18 yrs old would grow more than one who starts playing in the first team. Tutors should be removed to activate that bonus

Well, I disagree, because for most people, it's only six matches. You have to put up about five gold to play in the tournament, and if you don't finish in the top eight, you'll lose gold. We all know that eight teams will make it there, simply because of the investment in each team. Over time, it will lose importance. It also seems unrealistic to me; they've played in the last 24 hours. YES.

Well maybe played today option with youth matches would be too much, but at least the exp need to be inproved. 0.1 exp for match is like nothing, if a players plays 10 games/season in youth for 2 season it gets 2 XP, this is like a league match played in seniors. In my opinion it should be about 0.5/match
