I think it would be great if Kickoff Boss could introduce a player bidding system that gives managers more freedom in the transfer market.

Currently, you can only bid for a player when they are a free agent or when their current coach has decided to put them up for sale. I think it would make the game much more interesting if managers could also make an offer for a player who is not listed for sale.

For example, if I see a player from another club who I really want for my team, I should be able to submit a bid to that player's coach. The coach could then choose whether to accept the offer, reject it, or negotiate for a higher price.

This could also make transfers more competitive and realistic. Clubs would have to decide whether an offer is good enough to sell one of their players, rather than only selling when they actively put a player on the market.

I think this would give managers more control over transfers and make the transfer market much more active and exciting.

What do you guys think? Would you like to see this added to Kickoff Boss?

you can easily do the same thing writing to the player's owner and agreeing a price the owner would set to put the player on TL

Good idea, but player get set on market 24u or 48u so also other people have the chance to bid.

of course, but you can't pretend to have your own private negotiation. I mean, if the idea is making offers for players not on TL I agree. if the idea is that I make a private thing with you that your player is moved from you to me then I don't agree...things have to be done fair. you send the player on TL then the market will decide..otherwise in the other way you open a big space for cheating

Already proposed in past

Problem is the cheating , selling a player at 1 euros and the rest by paypal directly ...

@JUmpingJAckFLash14 it depends how implemented...let's say I have a player and you make me an offer 1 euro + 10 pay pal...if the player goes in TL, then the market will decide the final price...so why you should pay me with paypal if you're not sure to get the player? and the cheating is over

Going through the auction seems to me to be the BEST OPTION for avoiding potential fraud in the game. If it’s done solely through player-to-player transactions, there needs to be a minimum price—no less than 10% below market value or something similar.

I disagree. All auctions should go through the market. You propose a price for the player, the coach accepts it with a minimum of 24 hours on the market, but any player can try to buy if they want.

@speedtuning

Thats the best way for sure. I believe its the only way to keep the game fair for everyone.

There shouldn't be a conversation about private deals I don't think .. Not in an online game. Private deals would lead to people finding loopholes , exploits and inevitably fraud. But two teams agreeing on a price and submitting the player on the auction market is a completely valid and I think essential feature for a game like this. We've seen this system in a few other games as well . I think this is the only way for this system to be implemented without the risk of price manipulation and fraud.
